All of these amenities make the Class A Motor Home an exceptional choice for "dry" camping, where water and power hook-ups are not available.
- A common feature on Class A motorhomes is the slideout. At the touch of a button, the slideout moves a portion of the RVs exterior wall outward as much as 3-1/2 feet to enlarge the living, dining, sleeping or even kitchen area. When the slideout is extended, the space protrudes beyond the normal outside walls of the RV, like an addition on a conventional home.
- The Class A Motor Home is an ideal vehicle for family travel, as the living quarters are spacious. The living quarters and all systems are easily accessible and fully functional throughout the trip. Passengers can sleep, eat, read, watch TV, play video games while traveling, and use the bathroom is available with ease.
- A properly loaded Class A Motor Home provides an incredibly smooth and stable ride for pleasurable long distance driving. Any experienced automoblile driver can take the wheel, as no special license is required.
- Due to its size, the Class A Motor Home is impractical for local driving once set up for camping. So, many Class A Motor Home drivers elect to tow an automobile on the rear of the large RV to use for short side trips once they've reached their RV camping destination.
