RV Awnings - Awning Fabrics and RV Awning Accessories

RV Awnings come in all shapes and sizes: Automatic RV Patio Awnings, RV Slide-Out Awnings, Automatic RV Window Awnings, Automatic RV Door Awnings, Automatic RV Solar Screens & Shades.

Automatic RV Patio Awnings are lateral arm retractable awnings for RVs, trailers and motor homes. Larger arms enable greater awning extension in situations that demand more shade coverage.

RV Slide-Out Awnings are mounted to the coach of the RV, motorhome or trailer, not the extending slide room. This provides more pitch than any slide-out RV awning, ensuring smother and tighter RV awning fabric while preventing water buildup over the room. The fabric extends and retracts with the slide-out room.

RV Awning Fabrics

RV Awnings demand the very best in awning fabrics to ensure long life and carefree maintenance. Woven acrylics should be treated with water repellent and UV protection prior to weaving. Awning fabrics should be cut with lasers, then sewn or welded together with computer-controlled accuracy.

There are also automatic RV window awnings, automatic RV door awnings and automatic RV solar screens and shades for your RV, motorhome or trailer.

RV Awning Fabrics - Maintenance and Care

Regular RV awning fabric maintenance generally means a once-a-year cleaning, with additional care of stains or dirt. To ensure longevity of RV awning abric quality, RVers should have a regular regimen of brushing debris off the fabric (daily) and an occasional soapy wash (natural soaps are best) with a thorough fresh water rinse as needed. This care applies to 100% acrylic RV awning fiber awnings.

Non-acrylic RV awning fabrics should be cleaned with liquid detergent and water. If you use a liquid detergent to clean your RV awning fabric, it is best to reapply a water repellent treatment, such as 303 Hi-Tech Fabric Guard or similar product.

Let the RV awning fabric completely air dry. Make sure to store your RV awning fabric in a dry, well-ventilated area.
